1st - 7th October, factories across China shut down, creating knock-on effects across manufacturing, shipping, and pricing. Delays often start weeks before and continue well after the holiday as production and logistics catch up.

Production shutdowns → backlogs build quickly

Transport congestion → ports & couriers under pressure

Longer lead times → shipping and production delays
